I wrote this book, now in it’s 15th printing, with artists and craftspeople in mind - a step by step guide for creative people who want to learn a new medium at home in their own studios. Rich color photographs illustrate every step and many reproductions of screenprints by major artists are included. Simple Screenprinting also includes guidelines for setting up an inexpensive exposure unit for burning photo-emulsion stencils, like the exposure unit I’ve been using successfully in my studio for many years.
About Simple Screenprinting: Basic Techniques and Creative Projects:
“Making difficult and complex concepts so very easy to understand are hallmarks of an experienced and skilled teacher / author. It is a joy to discover a book that is useful, friendly, and easy to understand, and this book is all of that.”
- John Murray, Fine Art Printmaker
